Our technology allows you to see which patients are highest priority for in-person appointments, and who is less urgent: allowing you to pre-screen and prioritise the use of your surgery time.
Remote reviews will provide you with detailed diagnostic information, enabling a provisional treatment plan to be developed before a patient arrives at the surgery. Giving you more time to prepare and plan treatments efficiently.
The detailed diagnostic and medical information we capture supports compliance through more accurate, timely and evidenced based records of the decisions taken by professional dentists.
Remote reviews can be completed more quickly than in person, and outside of normal surgery hours: giving you the freedom to expand the number of reviews completed during the working day.
Reducing the number of in-person review appointments will allow you to spend more time on higher value treatments during normal surgery hours.
Workload to complete review appointments can be allocated to appropriate team members, allowing higher skilled professionals to focus on more complex patient care.

Becoming part of the Orascan network will allow you to complete screening of patients remotely, saving you valuable surgery time. You will be part of a growing network of dental professionals and patients, increasing the number of patients who have access to your clinic.
We provide an integrated system of scanning and patient management making it easy to complete reviews, update medical records and communicate with patients. This will be compatible with existing software systems for ease of integration into your existing workflows.
You can on-board existing patients to the Orascan network and manage them through our workflow. Please contact us to discuss how this works in more detail.
We are working with the profession to ensure our scans are as accurate as possible, and as a minimum allow for a provisional treatment planning for the patient. More details of the outputs from the device will be made available during the development process.
We are working with the medical device regulations to ensure our technology is certified. These will be Level 1 and Level 2 medical devices under MHRA in the UK. Images will be DICOM compliant and compatible with existing software systems used globally. We are currently seeking engagement with indemnity providers to ensure medical legal compliance for our dentists.
